Day 8 was Mike and Alex's final day of their travels throughout Assembly District 150. They were joined by Chautauqua County Legislator, Tom Nelson, who biked the final leg of the journey with them!
Today added 16.7 miles to the trek, taking them to about 127 miles traveled in total!
They biked from Falconer to Frewsburg, making several stops along the way and ended at the Audobon Community Nature Center.
The tour of the Assembly District has been an important opportunity for Mike to meet with people along the route; highlight the libraries and schools that form the heart of our communities; stop in to businesses, both large and small; and see first-hand both the challenges and the incredible resources we can build upon to renew our communities.
If Mike put this much time and effort into these eight days, walking and biking to get to know the people, needs, and resources of the district, just imagine how much time and effort he will put into getting to know the issues and solving problems for the people of this district when we send him to Albany!
