On July 9, Mike and Alex continued our walk throughout the Assembly District, walking and biking 16.5 miles starting at Bailey Manufacturing in Forestville and ending at the Dunkirk City Pier.
Today's visits included a variety of local businesses as well as libraries, schools, and post offices.
Mike also noted public buildings in the community that will need to be repurposed or redeveloped, such as Brooks Memorial Hospital (after a new hospital is built in the north of the county) and the NRG plant in Dunkirk. These are the kinds of development projects that will bring local people and county officials into partnership with the state to redevelop and renew our communities.
There is no better candidate than Mike to bring vision, relationships, and resources to these efforts to revitalize our communities...for our families and our future.
