Libraries
Public libraries are the best!
For many of us in Chautauqua County and the Seneca Nation, libraries are the heartbeat of our communities.
Libraries provide so much in addition to books in all forms:
Children and families go on educational adventures.
Students receive a safe and welcoming place after school.
People access the internet for research, job search, and educational resources.
People of all ages and circumstances
have access a place of warmth, cooling, and care.
On my travels around our 150th Assembly District, I have seen and experienced the extraordinary role that our libraries play in our everyday lives and our communities.
New York State provides assistance to help keep our libraries open and available. As your Assembly member, I will work extra hard not just to keep the lights on, but to ensure that our libraries—our communities—get more help and resources.
Libraries are invaluable:
To our families;
For renewing our communities; and
For our future!
