AD 150 Day 5 Recap!

jjacksonforsberg

Day FIVE is a wrap! Mike and Alex added another 10 miles to their trek, bringing total miles traveled to nearly 83 miles.

They started in Stow at Hogan's Hut and took the historic Stow Ferry across Chautauqua Lake to Bemus Point. The highlight of that ferry trip was being able to share the ride with a book club, who graciously gave Mike a ride!

Mike stopped at the historic Hotel Lenhart, a property that is currently vacant and could be critical to the district's tourism economy future, as well as small businesses in Bemus Point, both historic and new. And of course, Mike stopped into the library where there was a regular children's story time in progress!

After returning to Stow on the ferry, Mike traveled by bike to the Chautauqua Safety Village and Goose Creek Valley Greenway Preserve in Ashville.

We'll see you back on the trail tomorrow, Thursday, July 18, when we pick up in Ashville and travel through Lakewood to Celoron!
